It can be done in other versions..it is to get you a bit more familiar with this great PSP Preset Shapes tool.
We will begin with a New Image by going to File.size 400x400. Transparent.
It is best to work in a large image as we can resize later. You may flood fill if you wish so you can see your work better.
Make a new Raster Layer name it Cup.
Go to the Preset tool..see screenshot
Click it and scroll down until you see
Cylinder
Draw out a shape that look like a cup handle..set it on either side..it will be a bit thick but we are going to take care of that.by going to Selections
Ellipse and starting about in the middle of the handle... see screenshot below. draw out a thin Ellispe..be sure you are on the cup handle layer

You may have to do this several times before you get it the way you want....I always have to work it several times "smile"
when it is to your satisfaction...hit delete.
Go to Image....Resize to 300X300
Go to Edit...Sharpen.
You have made your cup.
