I love playing with masks to see what I can come up with...this is my first tutorial
using a mask........I hope you enjoy it.
Now we are ready to start.....download the Picture and Mask.........minimize the mask.
Go to File New 300x300 transparent.
Flood fill with a color from picture ..I used
#1E7AC3...feel free to use your color.
Go to Picture..duplicate it....minimize the original for now.
Click on picture...go to Edit....Copy
Click on your filled graphic..Edit..Paste as New Raster Layer
Center it as best you can
Make sure you are on Picture Layer...go to Effects.Plugins..Simple click Pizza Slice
Return to Simple and click Half Wrap
You should have four corners of green petals
Go to Layers and Merge All
Pull up the minimized Picture
Go to Selections......Ellispe.....feathered at 8
circle the flower...see screenshot
While the ants are running...go to Edit...Copy
Click Graphic Edit...Paste as New Layer
Place it in the center of the blue square Diselect....Merge All
New Raster Layer
Pick a light color from the flower.....I used #D29FD0......now flood fill your graphic with this color......Go to Mask/....New..on the pull down click on the Mask... ok.
Go back to Mask....Delete..Yes
