This was created with Paint Shop Pro 7..It can be created in other versions also with a few adjustments...This is mine and any similarties to any other is purely coincidental....Left click to download the cat
Go to File.. New Image .. 400x400 transparent image
On the Color Palette Null the Foreground and make the Background color # d52529
New Raster Layer 1..name it Heart
1...Go to Preset Tools... Tool Options...find Heart #1..start out at 45 ---93..numbers at lower left hand corner ...pull to the right and down until the numbers matches the screenshot below
this create your first heart....duplicate this layer..rename heart
2...go to Image and resize 80 % all layers UNCHECKED
Go to Effects Drop Shadow use Vertical.1...Horozontal 1
Opacity 52 Blur 4.9...apply..repeat but change the V and H to minus 1 ..I used color black...use you own judgment on color and shadow on what you like..
3.......making sure you are on Heart 2
..using the Selection Tool Rectangle... feather 0

start where the arrow is shown above and pull up
while it is active go to Selections and promote to Layer..name this layer Flap...while still active go to Edit and Copy and Paste as new image..move this new image aside...Deselect.
....Making sure you are on Layer 2..repeat the above direction...and delete
4..now Copy and Paste the flap into the flap layer go to Image and Flip..move into position
go to Effects and apply the same drop shadow
5....Close out all layers but the Heart 2 and Flap..highlight the Flap layer and merge visible...Open all layers...you now have a pocket that we can put the cat into...you can now save this as PSP and use at another time...
6....Make a new layer above Heart 1..name it Cat..Get the cat you downloaded..click on it ..go to Edit..Copy...click on your image you are working on and Paste as transparent..Use the Deformation tool if need to place him where you wish him to be.
the cat should be between Heart 1 and Heart 2....click on Heart 2 layer to highlite it and opaque it down ..about 75 so you can see the cats tail .. see screenshot on left...now take the Eraser at size 3 and erase the heart on his tail being careful not to get outside the tail... now move the opaquer back to the 100 % and the cats tail should be on top of Heart 2..scrreeenshot on right
New Layer..name DECO
7....You can now put decororations on it..Open the Holly download ..Place it wherever you want using the mover tool and deformation tool..making sure it is on its own layer...Now you can merge all visible
8....Make a new layer and text in what you wish... Use a size you like.....after you finish click on the bottom empty layer and flood fill with color of your choice....Merge Flatten
9....Duplicate your grapic twice...save the original as PSP Cat 1.. now click on one of the other graphic
go to retouch tool
being careful you don't start too far up on the eye.. pull down so part of the eye is closed..see screenshot on left..get the Lasso tool ..circle..feather 0..and surround the eye..go to Selections ..feather 0 and promote as layer..diselect...merge visible ..save as psp Cat 2
10...Click on the last graphic and following the same steps as above close the whole eye...screenshot on right...merge visible...save as psp Cat 3
11...Animation Shop...Wizard
Click next...Same Size..Next.....Opaque...next....Centered in frame
next...Yes to repeat...next...Frame annimation 35....next
add images...find your three images and while holding down the CTRL key click 3..2..1..finish...go to view to see your annimation. Save
