A picture of your choice. I used a large picture.... after i finished my puzzle I then re-sized to 350x350
Step 1
Open picture........go to effects....filters.....
xenoflex..........click puzzle
Column..5.............connector length..50........Groove..50
Fill with solid color.checked...Fill color.....white.....Random Seed..1
Click ok...........You now have a puzzle
Step 2
Go to the lasso tool....Tool Options ..Freehand..Feather...0...Antialias checked.......
trace around the puzzle piece you want to remove
you can remove more pieces if you wish,I just lassoed one.
You will see ants floating around selected piece.....
go to Selectons and promote to layer.
While it is active go to Edit and Copy and Paste as New Image.
Your New Image will be off to the side by itself.
DO NOT DISELECT yet.......open layer palette and
delete promoted layer.........to do this....go to keyboard and hit delete.
Diselect....CTRL-S
You now should have an empty white spot where you removed the puzzle piece.
Step 3
Now go to the New Image and click on it to make it active,,,go to
Edit and Copy.......go back to puzzle ..click it to make active ..
go to Edit and paste as new layer....place the puzzle piece where
you want it......I used a drop shadow at
Vertical...minus 1.............Horizontal....4 opacity....49...Blur...0
I also used the deformation tool to turn it a little.....
now re-size to 350x350 and go to Effects and Sharpen
