This tutorial was made using PSP 7..I'm sure it can be made in other versions with a few adjustments.
I have not made many screeshots ....This is an Intermediate and higher Intermediate lesson.
Tools used for this tutorial are...Vector...Drop Shadow....Preset
Color Palette.....Numbers at Bottom...(don't know the name) Deformation Tool....Sharpen....and Text
Download the Fall Obz Graphic & Gold Tile
EASY ENVELOPE
Open a new transparent image 400x300...(we will resize later)
On your Color Palette (styles) set the Foreground to #E9A000
Flood Fill the transparent image with this color.
Now on the Color Palette. ...Foreground..Gradients Gold...Background ..use a Dark Green or a color you want
Layer One
1...Go to Preset and click on the Rectangle...watch the Bottom numbers and set the tool at 42,33...now pulling to the right stop at 282 and pull down to 189

You now have the bottom of the envelope made..we are now going to make the flap.
Layer Two
2...Color Palette..Foreground...Gold...Background...Dark Green or color of your choice....get the Preset tool....Triangle
starting about the middle left side of envelope pull out to other side...see ScreenShot
3....Making sure that you are not on the outside of envelope...get the Mover Tool and bring up to the top edge of envelope...see ScreenShot
Go to Effects...Drop Shadow...see ScreenShot and use the numbers shown...Click Okay.
Layer Three
4....Make Layer One active and Duplicate it....using the Mover Tool
move the duplicated layer down so the upper right hand corner is just a bit under the flap..see Head Graphic above.
Go to Effects...Drop Shadow...using the numbers below in ScreenShot
5....Find the Apple Basket and go to Image and Resize at 30 %
All Layers Unchecked.
Copy and Paste as a New Layer on the left side
If it is too large use the Deformation Tool to make it smaller....go to Effects..Sharpen...
New Layer Four
6...Add Text...I used the same color as the envelope and put a Drop Shadow in...When you like what it looks like...go to Layers and Merge Flatten.
This is where I get the Crop Tool and cropped it smaller.
